Future District Governor of Rotary District 6560

Presents program for the Attica-Williamsport Rotary Club

Mrs. Judy Hollander, Attica-Williamsport member and District Governor Elect for District 6560 for the 2009-2010 Rotary year, presented the program for the club on Wednesday, September 5, 2007.

Mrs. Hollander asked all members to consider their personal and the club’s collective involvement potential for the 2009-2010 Rotary year.  Mrs. Hollander asked members to write down some thoughts as to what kind of activities and participation each would be interested in for the Rotary District Conference which will be held in French Lick, Indiana.

During Mrs. Hollander’s future term as District Governor, she has many exciting projects she wishes to pursue with the support of not only the District itself, but also the local Attica-Williamsport Club.  Projects in the works include: the Dictionary Project for local and statewide third grade students, a Group Study Exchange trip between local residents to countries of either Kenya/Ethiopia, Africa, El Salvador or the interior regions of Australia, encourage membership of younger adults in our communities to join Rotary, the Mentoring Program and an interest in Heifer International.

Mrs. Hollander is excited to be preparing for her term as District Governor and described the many workshops, training seminars and travels she has been (and will be) involved with.  As District Governor, Mrs. Hollander will be expected to extensively travel throughout her District and to attend the National and International Conferences of Rotary International.

All are most welcome to attend our club meetings every Wednesday mornings at 6:30 am at the Harrison Hills Country Club.   Come see what Rotary in your community is doing!
