Judy Hollander appears thrilled to have Bill Craft putting a dollar in the
Happy Bucks basket. Bill passed around the basket last week and almost set the
record for the most money collected. The dollar you see in his hand,
had it been contributed last week, would have put him over the top and he could
have claimed the record. Sorry Bill..........More

Other meeting happenings:
The nominating committee will meet and develop a slate of potential officers
to be submitted to the membership for their consideration. Andy Van Hyfte is
chairman of that committee.
President Bob Geyer announced that the Education Assistance Award will be
expanded to include the elementary schools in Warren County. The awards are
meant to act as a stimulus for teachers to develop new ideas that assist
student learning. Recipients will be asked to report to the club before
and after implementing their program. A plaque will be hung in each building
and the name of the recipient will be inscribed on it.
Bob also reported that the local club's donation of $500.00 for the
Grahamstown Orphanage project was received in September. This initial
contribution, through matching funds, had grown to $4500.00.
Steve Odore and his son will report in a follow-up program on their
