Ed Franklin presented the program.
Ed grew up in Danville, IL. He then
received his BS degree in Geology from the University of Illinois and his MS
degree from the University of Nebraska. From there he went to work for ESSO
in Venezuela. Until he retired, he lived in many different places
throughout the world while searching for oil. He retired and along with his
wife Alison spent the next ten years living in England. The two of them
then returned to the Attica family farm outside Stone Bluff where his mother
had once lived. He had many interesting stories to tell of his
adventures around the world. Thank you Ed.
