Tentative schedule for 2007 GSE team visit.

 

Friday January 6th:

 

Pick up from Lafayette Club at 10:00 am.  At the Cracker Barrel on I65 and 26.  Leave for:

Trip to visit Fair Oaks Dairy in Demotte, IN

 

Meet Host Families at 6:00 pm (all members are invited) at HHCC for dinner.

 

Team goes home with Hosts. 

 

Saturday the 7th:

 

Relax at home in the morning.

Early afternoon cook out for team or ????,  We need ideas here.  Priscilla has learned that she can not have it at her house.  May be at the park?

 

Evening night out with young people. 

 

Sunday the 8th:

 

Easter Sunday with Host Families.

 

Monday the 9th:

 

Vocational Day

 

Breakfast at Home

 

We need  ideas, coordination and volunteers here???

 

(We have two bankers (Khaled & Sazzad), one farm implement / forging (Munawwar).  I suggest they all travel together.)

 

Tour Wolf’s Candies. (All team members)

Tour of Attica Post Office (All team members)

Visit One bank.

Tour of Harrison Steel (Dave Hollander)

John Deere in Williamsport (John Wright)

Tour of Fountain County or Warren County Court House.

 

One team member is a Law Professor (Farhana), and Cindy and Jennifer have volunteered to take her for her vocational day.

 

One team member (Claudia) profession is not known yet???

 

Special Meeting Monday evening (at The Beef House) for Team Presentation.  Herb Pigman’s Presentation on Polio.  5:30 cocktails 6:15 dinner.

 

Tuesday the 10th:

 

Breakfast at HHCC , and pass off to Indy Club (Hugh Baker) at the Holiday Inn in Crawfordsville. (Time to be decided 10:00 am most likely)
