March 15, 2006 It was Rick Crawley the new director of the Wabash Valley Hospital who addressed the Attica-Williamsport Rotary Club at last weeks meeting at the Harrison Hills Country Club. Ron Knabel, who heads the local office in Attica that opened in the 1970's, accompanied him. Mr. Crawley gave the history of the local clinic and outlined a new outlook and new directions. He noted significant changes in behavior and the partnering of schools, police, and other social services in attempts to respond effectively to the problems that the hospital and its outlying clinics encounter. He stressed the goals of prevention and encouragement as being an important part of their reactive philosophies. See http://www.wvhmhc.org for more information
