We were blessed to have her in our lives."

From May 17, 2006

Rotary members marched in to Harrison Hills Country Club last Wednesday to the strains of "When the Saints Come Marching In," when District Governor, Martin Limbird, made his final visit as District Governor to the Attica-Williamsport Club and entertained the group with his accordion and trombone.

"If one wanted to become a friend of Carolyn quickly, the fastest way was to be a trombone player or a Rotarian. Fitting both those descriptions, Carolyn’s warmth and affection was showered on me from the outset. I remember vividly how she appreciated the live music performed at a Rotary function at the Beef House during Bob Geyer’s presidency…especially because of the trombone player’s skills and charm.  I confess to feeling a bit of jealousy that evening!!!  Next time I pick up my trombone, I will play a tune for Carolyn…."

Santa visits the Attica-Williamsport Rotary Club

The December 21 meeting was a festive affair.  Santa made an early appearance and the cookie baking contest was a tasty success.

Shown in the above picture is Santa making an attempt to retrieve a gift that he had given to Carolyn Paulson. He thought she was going to help pass out the gifts but instead she is seen trying to auction it off.  After he explained the purpose of the visit she did settle down and made an excellent "Santa's helper".
