Boswell Rotary Club February 6 2006 Robert E. Geyer, Larry Callahan, Bob McLean, Dear fellow Rotarians: I am pleased to inform you that plans for the annual Quad-City Rotary meeting have been completed. We look forward to an evening of good fellowship and an interesting discussion with the president of Purdue University, Dr. Martin Jischke. Date: Thursday, April 20 Cost: $20 per person, which provides a choice of two entrees (Pecan Crusted Chicken Breast or Roasted Port Loin) plus salad, beverage, dessert, and including all taxes and gratuities. Parking: Most convenient is the public garage at State (US 26) and Grant Street. Based on the estimates you provided recently, we expect an approximate attendance of 80 Rotarians, including guests, from the four Rotary clubs involved. The room has a maximum of 96, however. We must provide prior to the meeting a guaranteed number. I will call you on Friday, April 14, to get the final count from your club, as well as choices of entree. To simplify payment for the meal, I would appreciate it if you would arrange to collect in advance $20 from each person attending from your club, and remit this money to our club treasurer, Don Bacon, by check or cash that evening. If I can provide any further information at this time, please call. My telephone number is 765-869-5821. Email: hpigman@localnet.com Herbert A. Pigman President |
