We had a Hoosier Ambassadorial Scholar Orientation on August 27, 2005 with outbound, inbound and alumni Ambassadorial Scholars from Districts 6560 and 6580.
Scholars Remi Audfray from France, Li-Ting "Ella" Huang from
Taiwan, and Aaron Munson are in the back row. Scholars Christina Bragg who was a
Cultural Scholar in Senegal, Africa last summer, Minsun Kim from South Korea,
Lesley Taulman who was in Bolivia in 2004, Ji-Young Kim from South Korea, Angela
Rusk, and Allyson Smith who was a Cultural Scholar in Salmanca, Spain last
summer are in the front row.
Natalia Ginez, Senior Scholarships Coordinator at RI, was the keynote speaker.
DG Martin and Mary Catherine Limbird, DG Oscar Ozete, PDG Steve and Susan Leonard, PDG Pat Riggins, DGE Bing Pratt, District 6580 Ambassadorial Scholarship Chairman Yolanda Trevino, and Sponsor Steve Poston also attended the Orientation.
PDG Hugh Baker arranged a tour of the Indy 500 Brickyard and the Museum for the group at the end of the day.
